Original logo and Branding work for Shaniyat Chowdhury’s campaign for Assembly District 24 in Queens, New York.
I worked with the client to develop all branding including logos, colors, type choices, as well as social, print, email, and web applications.
As someone who had run for office before, Shaniyat was looking to refresh his brand for a more local community. He wanted something youthful, representing him as a new democratic/progressive while still grounded in the beliefs nodding to the makeup of his district and cultural background, centering South Asian communities and values. He was focused on policies related to workers rights, housing rights, and climate justice. The communities centered and reflected in materials were primarily Bengali, Hindu, Korean, and Spanish.
