Hi! I’m Surbhi (she/her) 👋🏽 I’m a progressive graphic designer living in Brooklyn, NYC. With over 7 years of experience at the intersection of politics/advocacy and design, I have worked on dozens of large-scale, digital programs designed to energize and mobilize communities all over the country.

I’m passionate about ensuring inclusivity, equity, accessibility, and creativity through design for causes I believe in. I’ve worked at a variety of non-profits, consulting firms, and political campaigns all while centering these values. I specialize in brand identity, paid media/social/web design, and print design.

Currently I am a Senior Designer and Art Director at Data and Society, a research and policy institute dedicated to educating people on maintaining their agency with the rise of AI and other emerging technology. In the past I’ve had the opportunity to work with national electoral campaigns such as Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Beto O’Rourke for TX. I’ve also worked for multiple issue-based non-profits including March for Our Lives and NARAL Pro-Choice America. 

When I’m not helping people get elected, you can find me enjoying a savory martini, playing tennis, or on my favorite mode of transporation, the NYC Ferry.
